My name is Valerie Foster and I am the face behind ZURRI Boutique. I am a native Hoosier from Northwest Indiana whom graduated from Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis with a degree in social work. I never in a million years would have thought that I would be able to circle back around and work towards something I have always admired, but here I am!
I love fashion, art, and music! In my spare time I love to attend local art shows, concerts, read novels and look through the latest fashion magazines. I believe fashion is a way to express yourself and every woman should feel good doing so. I love what clothes do for women and how they make us feel, and wanted to share that love with you as well.
It didn't take long for me to think of the name for my boutique. It has been a name that has been with me since I was a teen. ZURRI derives from the swahili word 'Zuri', meaning beautiful. I came upon Zuri while I was searching for a unique user name for my AOL account in middle school. I love beautiful prints, bright colors, and feminine cuts and feel ZURRI embodies all of those things.
My customers are most important to me as a boutique owner, and the styles that I offer are always with you in mind. I look forward to providing all of you with the latest trends directly from our boutique, and a few tips sent from our monthly blog post.
